Q: Do you offer memberships?

A: No, unlike a gym we don't sell memberships then leave you to fail. Everytime you come in you will workout with one of our certified Fitness Consultants so you get results. And each session is scheduled to reserve one of our private training suites so you can workout in private.


Q: How long are your personal training sessions?

A: Each session is 45-min but we encourage our clients to come in 15-min before their session to warm up on our cardio equipment. After your session we suggest cooling down a minimum of 5-min or for maximum fat burning you can add in 15-20min of cardio after your session. So, plan on spending 45-80 minutes at each session.


Q: How many times a week does the typical client work out?

A: This depends primarily on your goals. Typically our clients prefer to come in 3 days a week for better results. Training less often tends to slow down progress. Of course, clients that wish to achieve rapid results can come in more often to really accelerate their fat loss and/or muscle growth.


Q: What kinds of exercise will I be doing?

A: Our training model consists of the following areas of fitness: flexibility, core conditioning, balance, plyometrics, speed/agility and strength training. Our trainers will utilize the most effective exercises to get you the results you want in the quickest, safest manner possible.


Q: How much are your personal training sessions?

A: Per session rates vary based on the package you purchase. Like most things, the more you buy the less you pay per session. Our packages also bundle in some of our other services such as nutrition management software, fitness assessments, and nutrition counseling so the price of our packages covers more than the training sessions. If budget is a barrier, you might want to ask yourself how much you have invested in things in the past that haven't worked. Look at your current budget for memberships, activities, hobbies and other expenses (like golf, tennis, shopping, dining out, hair and nails, etc.). If you want to look and feel better when you are doing those things, you're going to have to make a commitment to yourself and invest in improving your life.


Q: How long until I see results?

A: We assess our clients every 6 weeks. This is enough time to show statistically significant results for most people. Our clients who have followed our complete weekly plan and journaled their healthy nutrition plans have consistently lost 15-20 pounds, 4-6% body fat and seen remarkable improvements in strength and endurance in this period. Like most things in life, the more YOU put into it, the more YOU will get out of it.


Q: How is working with Fitness Together different from working with a trainer at my gym or health club?

A: We don't offer cookie-cutter programs and we NEVER just "give you a workout". We are fitness professionals and pride ourselves in delivering exceptional service and helping our clients to get the best results possible. Our program ensures that our clients not only get the best immediate results possible in the shortest period of time, but also develop the lifestyle habits required to maintain those results.


Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: We are open M-F 6AM-9PM and Sat 6AM-2PM. However we ask that you please call to schedule an appointment before coming in.


Q: Can I use the facilities whenever I want?

A: While we try to accomodate each of clients' schedules we are not a public gym. All sessions are by appointment only so that we may best serve you.


Q: Will you tell me what to do on my "off" days?

A: On days that you do not come in for your one-on-one session with a trainer, you will be advised on when, how intense, and how much cardiovascular exercise you should do. We will also make recommendations as to certain exercises that you can do at home and on vacation. Even if your busy schedule includes lots of travel we can help keep you on track even when you are away.


Q: What types of clients do you work with?

A: We typically work with clients that want to reduce body fat, lose weight, increase their strength, and develop a lean toned physique. Our clients range from youths on up to adults into their 70's. Whether male or female, old or young, we work with a variety of clients who are ready to take control of their health. The main criteria we look for is a person that is committed to making changes and is willing to make time for fitness.


Q: What types of results can I expect to achieve working with you?

Q: Will you help me with my diet?

A: Unlike most other programs, we do not create a "diet" in the four-letter sense of the word. We will create a meal plan for you to follow that will have you eating the foods you like in the right amounts to reach your goal. The idea is to help you create eating habits that you can use for a lifetime so you can keep your results and not just put the weight back on after dieting.
